Please be advised that our school has been selected by the London Borough of Hounslow for the “School Streets” Scheme which aims to tackle road safety concerns and poor air quality around schools. This would involve having restricted access to Braid Close, Norman Avenue and Towfield Road during the hours of 8.15-9.15am and 2.45-3.45pm Monday to Friday during term time.
Full details of the proposal are available on the Hounslow consultation website (see link below), along with a short survey that we would encourage you to complete to formally let the London Borough of Hounslow know your views.
This scheme has already been rolled out successfully at several schools in the borough and we are being included in the next phase.

We are also attaching a flyer from the London Borough of Hounslow with further details of the scheme.
Any parents/carers who currently have permission to access our car park will be contacted nearer the time on registering for the scheme.
Local residents are also being contacted directly by the London Borough of Hounslow.
